Why do you come to work at Root & Rebound every day? Reentry is such a critical piece to rehabilitation and yet, it is often overlooked. Mass incarceration and the resulting criminalization of human beings is a human rights issue that must be addressed. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn, educate, and advocate for those who have been systemically silenced by systems of oppression in the United States.
