Lizzy Gilbert

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Lizzy is the Development Manager at Root & Rebound. She received her Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Prior to joining Root & Rebound, Lizzy was a founding team member at JustLeadershipUSA, where she coordinated major donor correspondence and managed the schedule of the founder. As an intern at Prisoner Reentry Institute during graduate school, she helped design an in-prison pilot program to assist long-termers in the parole process. She has conducted Restorative Justice workshops at prisons throughout California as a volunteer with Families of the Incarcerated and Get on the Bus, and supported foster and kinship families in the Respite Program at Family Support Services.

Lizzy received her B.A. in political science from George Washington University.

Lizzy enjoys building things using copper pipes.
