Roadmap to Reentry: A California Legal Guide

The "Roadmap to Reentry"  guide is an easy-to-use navigation tool covering the major barriers in reentry. It is meant for a broad audience: people in reentry and preparing for release as well as their families, social workers and case managers, teachers, community supervision officers, and attorneys.

It is comprehensive in scope, covering nine areas of law and civic life: housing, public benefits, parole & probation, education, understanding & cleaning up your criminal record, ID & voting, family & children, court-ordered debt, and employment.

I want to say thank you for the Roadmap to Reentry Legal Guide. It has been very, very helpful to me. Now I’m able to say I feel good about getting out of prison and know that I’ll be able to get my life back.
