Why do you come to work at Root & Rebound every day?
As a child I saw the impacts of poverty and abuse on my own family, and developed an awareness of the challenges faced by people caught in the many prison pipelines formed by poor public policy, and a lack of social support. I believe that every person is doing their best in a system that was not designed to serve them, and feel a deep sense of responsibility to serve my community however I can.
