I received my J.D. in 2020 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Prior to law school, I double majored in Psychology and Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley.
While in law school, I interned as a law clerk at the offices of Alameda and San Francisco County Public Defenders. I was fortunate enough to work with the Clean Slate program at the Alameda County Public Defenders, a program that assists with post-conviction record cleaning.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching documentaries and finding extremely spicy food. I have recently taken up hiking or running while playing an audio book.

Why do you come to work at Root & Rebound every day?
I come to work at Root and Rebound because I want to be a part of a team that sees the destructive and dehumanizing nature of the criminal justice system and will work to change it. I fundamentally do not believe in the act of putting humans in cages and I will do what I can to help victims of incarceration.
