Erin Bennett is a summer law clerk in the Fresno Office at Root & Rebound.

Erin is a rising 3L at Loyola New Orleans College of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana and a MBA student in Loyola’s Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business. Erin graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management, where she studied marketing and legal studies in business. Throughout college, Erin worked for the Tulane Center for Public Service as a service learning assistant teaching students about the importance community engagement and bridging the gap between class curriculum and public service.

During Erin’s first summer of law school, she was a summer associate at Gordon, Arata, Montgomery, Barnett, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, LLC and a legal intern for Citizen S.H.E. United, a nonprofit organization aimed at mobilizing black women in Louisiana to vote and educating others on the disparate impact of various issues black women face. Both positions deepened Erin’s interest in law and business while having direct interactions with those in the community. In the fall, Erin will serve as a student practitioner in Loyola’s Criminal Defense Clinic. As a New Orleans native, Erin received a great education and hopes to give back to the community by using her law and business degrees.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and going makeup shopping.
