Jeannine comes to Root & Rebound with over two decades of experience in the social and economic justice nonprofit sector. As the Director of Development & Communications, she ensures that Root & Rebound raises sufficient revenue to maintain financial strength and continue its important work. She also oversees communications to external stakeholders and supporters.
Prior to joining the organization, she worked as the Manager of Development and Impact at Self-Help, one of the nation’s largest community development financial institutions, which works to create economic opportunity for all. In addition to her fundraising and communications work, throughout her career Jeannine has managed Volunteer Income Tax Assistance programs, developed financial coaching programs, and formed partnerships with multiple non-profit organizations in collaboration with and in service to under-resourced and underestimated communities. She holds a B.A. from Colgate University.
