She is in her final year at Furman University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & International Affairs. Lauren is President of the Furman Prison Education Student Group which seeks to create dialogue between Furman students and incarcerated people at Perry Correctional Institution and educates the Furman community on mass incarceration

I come to work at Root & Rebound because I am continuously inspired by Root & Rebound staff and what they accomplish every day. I am constantly learning new things about our correctional system and the issues system-impacted people encounter daily.
