Anna Gorski is a Southern California native that loves the bay area. She received her Bachelor’s in Political Science from UC Davis in 2022. Her passion for working with the reentry population comes from her experience as a social work intern with the Public Defender’s office in Sacramento and as a legal clerk for a Public Defender in San Diego. She is applying to law school this year and is planning on attending Fall of 2024. Anna is excited to serve as a VISTA at Root and Rebound to help people navigate reentry with record cleaning and other resources.

Why do you come to work at Root & Rebound every day?
I come to work at R&R every day because I believe in the power of our work and I am passionate about fighting the mass injustice that is our carceral system. I believe in a holistic and abolitionist approach to help system impacted individuals and am proud of the work R&R has done and continues to do.
